Yes. Framingham State University reported 20 women’s basketball participants in the Equity in Athletics return it filed for 2025-26. That is the institution’s own count of the squad, not a roster page Athlavia has read, and it is the figure the United States Department of Education publishes.
It competes in NCAA Division III and in the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference. It is one of 34 NCAA DIII women's basketball programmes in Massachusetts, out of 55 programmes there in total.

Can it award a basketball scholarship?
NCAA Division III does not permit athletically-related student aid of any kind. A Division III programme can still be an excellent destination, but no basketball scholarship exists at one — the money there is academic and need-based aid.
Money is still available here: academic awards, need-based grants and institutional bursaries. What does not exist is an award made because of basketball. A recruiter offering one at a NCAA DIII institution is describing something the rules do not allow.
